Visitors to Ibiza will get to enjoy Eric Prydz at not one but two venues on the White Isle this summer, as he has announced a residency at Cafe Mambo Ibiza. Every Tuesday during the summer season, Prydz will be playing a special pre-party set at the legendary waterfront cafe, famed for watching both the sunset and sunrise over the Mediterranean. The first pre-party show with Prydz begins next Tuesday, 27 June, just as summer officially begins.
Prydz has an enduring history with the venue, as he has played there for more than a decade. His discography includes a song dedicated to the club ‘Sunset at Cafe Mambo‘ on his album Opus. His 2006 set from the club/cafe is well-regarded even today by his legion of fans. Prydz’ shows at Cafe Mambo are a welcome addition to his already-scheduled residency at Hï Ibiza.
He has a busy summer ahead, including a slate of B2B shows with deadmau5, which will go on the road outside of Ibiza to appearances such as Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival. He recently staged his amazing Epic 5.0 show in London, which included the world’s largest holographic projections. The show was met with rave reviews for its technological wonders, and of course his music.
We are excited 🙌 to announce the launch of our brand new pre-party which will be running every Tuesday from next week! Guess who? 💥✌🏻 pic.twitter.com/rLB2EHdqb6
