Headhunterz left fans in tears of joy as he made his long-awaited return to hardstyle. After leaving the genre for EDM in 2014, Headhunterz a.k.a ‘Heady‘, whose real name is Willem Rebergen, went on to play at festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. He also released epic collaborations with the likes of KSHMR, R3hab, Hardwell, W&W, Crystal Lake and many more. Now, Rebergen has decided to “surrender to who I really am”.

He announced his comeback via a 12-minute Facebook Live video, showing a small portion of his set from Defqon.1 in the Netherlands on Sunday. Much to the delight of the Hardstyle faithful, he played classic records such as such as ‘The Sacrifice‘, ‘Rock Civilization‘, and ‘Scrap Attack‘.

After becoming victim to much ridicule from hardstyle fans upon his departure in 2014, Rebergen took to Facebook in 2015 to deliver a much-wanted explanation from his fans.
