One of Deorro’s finest prodigies, Luca Testa, has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months, with a steady string of releases on the Panda Funk imprint. His latest original sees him team up with fellow Italian TUDOR to bring us “Don’t Let”, a hard hitting, bass fuelled anthem. In follows in the same fashion as Luca Testa’s previous releases, with quality and creativity in abundance. Throughout his musical journey, the Turin native has deservedly signed with some of the scene’s most prominent labels, including Dim Mak, Cr2 Records, and Hysteria Records, receiving support from the likes of Hardwell, Afrojack and W&W in the process.
The listener initially expects “Don’t Let” to have a more downtempo rhythm – as the trap-infused beat introduced at the first drop would signify. But this soon transitions when the heavy hardstyle kick comes in shortly afterwards, combining emphatically with the overwhelming bass house synth work. Topped by some lively vocals, the track contains copious amounts of energy throughout. With the growling synths taking full effect at the drop, it is certain to cause mayhem when dropped live at the upcoming festivals, and is bound to be another hit to add to both artist’s growing repertoires.
