OneRepublic – Lift Me Up (Michael Brun Remix)

Haitian sensation Michael Brun has turned his brilliant music production skills to OneRepublic‘s hit ‘Lift Me Up‘ for his brand new remix of the track.

The Haitian producer first saw success when he had his song ‘Dawn’ released on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings. This gained the attention of Dirty South, who later worked with Michael on many different projects and generally helped him to get a solid grounding to the music industry. Dirty South released one of Michael’s most successful EP’s – ‘Gravity’ on his record label ‘Phazing’ with the EP peaking at #2 in the Beatport charts.

Michael Brun has since written plenty of songs that are well-suited to the summer season as he captures a tropical sound with his Caribbean background and this especially includes his new remix of ‘Lift Me Up’.

The remix keeps the core OneRepublic vocals while twisting it into something that reminds you of sun, holiday and good times as he uses his roots to provide a tropical texture. As soon as OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder heard the track, he immediately offered to work with Michael Brun to help make the remix as good as possible and release it as an official remix.
