Held yearly in the Croatian city Split, Ultra Europe has over the years become one of the most highly-anticipated events on the dance music calendar. Created during the expansion of the Ultra brand, the festival reflects the main event in Miami, and takes place during July every year. However, this year a conflict has occurred between Ultra Europe and Croatian Europa League team Hajduk, with both hoping to host their events at Poljud stadium on the same date.

The two organizations are currently in the process of negotiating a resolution for the conflict which will resolve the issue keeping both sides happy. Here is what president of Hajduk Ivan Kos had to say about the issue:

“I hope that we can find a common language,” Kos said. “The contract has not yet been signed, but I hope that we can solve this problem. At the moment, the project itself is in the financial phase of negotiations. The problem is that we have to relocate the team to another stadium, which means we have to play a home game away, but we are ready to take a step back because of the general benefits and general good of Ultra. We know that the city benefits through catering and overnight stays, and at a national level, we believe that Ultra needs to be maintained.”
