Avicii shares extended version of upcoming single “Lonely Together”

An actress in the forthcoming video for Avicii‘s newest single leaked the release date in a post on her Instagram. Not only did she mention it was coming soon, but when a fan asked for clarification she revealed the video is due August 8.

The photo features several young models in the back of an old VW van wearing hippy fashion. Her hashtags revealed the Avicii connection, unintentionally or not, and played up on the 70s theme the video will have. The bus is parked at Dockweiler State Beach, on the beautiful California Pacific coastline in Los Angeles.

It’s most likely that fan favourite ‘Without You ‘ with vocals from Sandro Cavazza will be the lead single, and thus the subject of this video, but mixed reports also indicate ‘Lonely Together.’

Regardless of which track serves as the lead single, it will be on EP Lord, as previous leaks showed Avicii’s music will be released as two EPs not an album.

Avicii’s promotion has been heavy on social media, using his Instagram more than anything (his Twitter appears inactive) to strategically hashtag photos of his world travels, to exotic locales like the mountains of Peru.
