Avicii took to Instagram to announce part of the tracklist for his forthcoming third studio album. Although hyped by fans as a comeback album, Avicii never retired from music, just touring.

The Swedish megastar has been travelling the world, documenting his voyages to exotic locales on Instagram, including this post of Machu Picchu in Peru. A video of the ancient Incan citadel features the beautiful melody of one of Tim Bergling’s new tracks with the exciting promise of music coming not just soon, but indeed very soon.

Using hashtags to reveal six new tracks on the album, Avicii will be including fan favorite ‘Without You‘ which he used to open his farewell shows last year. The track is co-written by Sandro Cavazza, who also provides his emotionally resonant vocals. Fan reaction to the track has been enthusiastic, with even Cavazza noting it on his own Instagram. He previously collaborated with Avicii on two tracks from second studio album Stories.

Other new tracks include ‘Friend of Mine‘, ‘Lonely Together‘, ‘Ride Away‘, ‘ You Be Love‘, and ‘What Would I Change it To.’ It’s unclear if ‘All I Need‘, his unreleased ID with Sia, will also appear on the album.

Bergling has been hard at work on the new album, chronicling the album’s production on his Instagram stories and even the construction of a new studio in scenic Tuscany, Italy.

Closing out his Won’t Be Right Back Tour at Ushuaïa in Ibiza last August, Bergling decided the lifestyle and demands of a DJ on the road wasn’t for him and ended his live appearances indefinitely. Taking to his website previously last year, he expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped him attain such remarkable success but also cited his need to step away. Gall bladder surgery in 2014 provoked him to cancel tour dates, perhaps contributing to his retirement from touring. However, recent posts have shown a healthier, and happier, Avicii.
