Celebrate Alesso’s birthday with his breakthrough remix “Pressure”

Home Uncategorized Celebrate Alesso’s birthday with his breakthrough remix “Pressure”

One of the long lost Swedish House Mafia members Alesso celebrates his birthday today as the progressive house maestro turns 26 years young. Having released his hit single “Falling” earlier this year along with a remix for The Chainsmokers, Alesso has continued to keep himself in the limelight of the dance music world. Today, we want to relive one the tracks that undeniably propelled him into superstardom back in 2011, which is his “Pressure” remix for Nadia Ali the Starkillers & Alex Kenji.

When it released during the first half of 2011, it instantly became a festival anthem and a track you would hear in nearly ever DJ set leading into that summer. The euphoric vocals combined with the mesmerizing synths and progressive house drop made it one of those instant classics that you could not get out of your head and wanted to play it on repeat.

The remix played a crucial role in getting Alesso to where he is today and allowing dance music to infiltrate the minds of millions as it entered its golden age. The “Pressure” remix is considered one of the best releases throughout his career alongside his “If I Lose Myself” remix and we can only hope that the Swedish producer can someday give us another production as legendary as those.

Listen to the classic remix below and let us know where it ranks on your all time list.
