Creamfields announces expansion to Asia

One of the world’s leading festival promoters, Creamfields, are set for a busy year having just announced their international festival schedule for 2017, with a series of 10 shows planned until the end of the year including new territory for the festival brand .

The event will expand to China, with events also taking place in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The global event promoters will also be returning to Australia after a 4 year hiatus with their first show taking place in Melbourne and also South America, with dates confirmed for Chile, Uruguay and Peru. 

The announcement coincides with the 20 year celebrations of the flagship UK show which returns to Daresbury in August.  The award winning event, which now runs for 4 days, has grown to become one of Europe’s biggest electronic music festivals. The UK event attracts audiences of 70,000 people every year, and a global line-up featuring the likes of deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Eric Prydz, and many more.

The full list of Creamfields events for the rest of 2017 is as follows, starting in Ibiza on 5th August:

Ibiza – 5^th August
Malta – 14^th & 15^th August
UK – 24^th – 27^th August
Uruguay – 10^th November
Peru – 11^th November
Chile – 12^th November
Melbourne –  26^th November
Hong Kong – 15^th & 16^th December
Taiwan – 17^th December
