Martin Garrix has been on a dominating roll so far in 2017 releasing three major singles, playing all of the major festivals such as Ultra, and recently beginning his summer residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza. Now, the world’s number one DJ reveals that he is collaborating once again with vocalist Dua Lipa on a follow-up track to their smash hit “Scared To Be Lonely,” which was released back in January of this year. The single reached the 9th spot on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart so the anticipation for the supposed track will be incredibly high.

In an interview with Rogue Magazine, Martin Garrix discussed his relationship with Lipa.

“With Dua [Lipa], I had never met her in real life but I had this song called ‘Scared to Be Lonely’ and I really wanted [her to sing] a duet to be on the record because I loved her voice. Actually I’m in the process of doing another song together with her. I really got to like her and found out she’s amazing and super dope, she has great energy. There’s also been times where people are recommended to collaborate with but I don’t really connect with that person. But I did with her. The writing process is the most important thing and if there’s not a great vibe in the studio creating a song, then it’s not worth staying in the studio.”

While Garrix already has a few songs in the pipeline based on what we have heard from his live sets, we hope that the duo can complete the song before the summer concludes. Until then, listen to their first collaboration below and we will keep you updated in the coming months.
