Relive Armin Van Buuren’s ‘The Best Of Armin Only’ shows in front of 80,000 fans

Earlier this year on May 15, Armin Van Buuren traveled back to his home country to perform two of his biggest solo shows yet in Amsterdam. He sold out both shows as 40,000 fans turned up to each show, all coming from a huge number 97 different countries. Production wise, this event involved a huge amount of work to do within the Amsterdam Arena. 200 crew members were used to do a variety of tasks, including putting up a behemoth LED screen (1200m²) and setting up over 2,000 blasts of fireworks.

After the event, Armin Van Buuren said the following:

“I’m still shaking from all this. This show, this crowd… It was absolutely phenomenal. I’m a bit bummed out that it has gone by so quickly, but I enjoyed this so, so much. I’d like to thank everyone for their support and all of their hard work, my fans of course and also Alda, 250K, DLP, Armada and Corrino Media Group. ‘The Best Of Armin Only’ isn’t just my ultimate highlight. It’s ours!”

The show was live streamed on arminonly.tv, Facebook Live and Dutch television station RTL 4. Across all the streaming methods, Armin managed to reel in a staggering amount of 4.8 million viewers from all around the world, which is a huge achievement.
