Swedish legend Eric Prydz recently invited Canadian powerhouse deadmau5 for another monumental back-to-back set. On Tuesday, July 18, Prydz invited deadmau5 to perform with him during his summer residency at Hï Ibiza in celebration of the eve of his birthday.
Since the opening party on June 20, Prydz has held a highly successful residency at the superclub formerly known as Space. For over a month, the house and techno mastermind has consistently delivered awe-inspiring performances one week after another, supported by the likes of London-based duo Pig&Dan and Danish artist Kölsch.
Prydz’ last show witnessed another back-to-back set between himself and his friend, Joel Zimmerman, or most notably known as deadmau5. The two electronic music superstars have performed side-to-side in the past, during the 2014 edition of HARD Summer and last year’s Tomorrowland to name a few. The duo is set to perform together once again during the upcoming Creamfields festival next month.
When Prydz and deadmau5 are both on stage, fans are certain to experience a one-of-a-kind show from beginning to end. Considering the amount of star power each DJ possesses, the Hï Ibiza crowd was in for a treat seeing a gargantuan three-hour set from Prydz and deadmau5.
