It’s been half a decade or exactly 5 years since the release of Afrojack and Steve Aoki‘s festival anthem, “No Beef“. The Dutch-American collaboration was an unstoppable force when it was released in 2012 and went on to dominate festivals and clubs for years to come. Featuring the infectious vocals of Miss Palmer and accompanied by a killer music video that depicted the life of DJs and ravers, No Beef had all the criteria for a chart topping hit.

The song was included as a bonus track in Aoki’s 2012 debut album Wonderland and was released on Afrojack’s Wall Recordings imprint. The track broke into the top 10s on numerous pop and dance charts across Europe and the Americas. At its peak you’d hear all the biggest DJs drop No Beef in their sets, making it an essential part of any tracklist.

The music video to date has rounded up close to 50 million views on Spinnin’ Records‘ YouTube channel, featuring cameos from the likes of Lil JonFlo Rida, Chuck Liddell, Holly Madison and more. Take a trip down memory lane and relive the electro-house gem below!
