Hï Ibiza & Glitterbox unveil ultimate record collection

Hï Ibiza’s Friday night residency Glitterbox has joined forces with the islands hottest new super-club to unveil the ultimate record collection and it is going to auction. At the end of the 2017 summer season, the record collection will go under the hammer to the highest bidder with all the proceeds going to the Ibiza Preservation Fund.

The ultimate record collection has been chosen by Glitterbox DJs. The records that obtained a spot in the collection were decided upon how hugely influential the track was or some of the biggest tracks made by the headliners from years gone by.

Among the collection, records include ‘The Word Is Love’ by Steve ‘Silk’ Harvey as chosen and signed by Luke Solomon, ‘Groovin You’ by Harvey Mason chosen by Simon Dunmore, and ‘Where Love Lies’ by Alison Limerick chosen and signed by Chris Morales. One of the most seminal tracks to make the collection is ‘Another Chance‘ by Roger Sanchez as chosen and signed by the man himself. Speaking about the track Sanchez said:

“This record opened the hearts and ears of many people around the world to house music”.

The Ibiza Preservation Fund will certainly welcome the donation where the proceeds will help protect Ibiza and Formentera’s natural beauty and environment. The fund supports and partners with local and international organisations to preserve the land, sea, and unique cultural and environmental heritage.
