Following the release of his anthemic new track ‘Rejoice‘, what better way to indulge in some classic Steve Angello than by reliving one of his most incredible sets of all time?

After producing arguably the greatest set of the entire Tomorrowland 2017 weekend, the Swedish genius has been receiving much praise from all corners of the globe, particularly following the official drop of ‘Rejoice’ last Friday, with all sections of the dance music world hailing the track as one with real potential to go down in the pantheons of timeless dance productions.

The release marks a return to form for the SIZE Records label owner, and this week, his iconic set from Club Mania in 2005 turned an incredible 12 years old. Long before his Swedish House Mafia Days, ‘The Boss’ proved why he is nicknamed exactly that, with a dynamic and vibrant set which is still talked about to this day. Kicking things off with the massive ‘Countdown to Metropolis’, Steve soon spun his Supermode and future SHM-colleague Axwell’s mix of the Roger Sanchez classic ‘Turn on the Music.’

Fizzing through the performance with real energy and vigour, Angello dropped huge hits from the likes of David Guetta and Scissor Sisters, before pumping out his Sebastian Ingrosso collab, ‘Yeah‘ – a sign of things to come in following years for the duo.

Mixing in Blur classic ‘Song 2’ and Coldplay‘s version of ‘God Put A Smile Upon Your Face’, the SIZE hero ended his superb 3-hour masterclass with Kosheen‘s ‘Hide U’, sealing a setlist in the process which is still talked about to this day! You can listen to the mind-blowing set below, and check out the official full tracklist here.
