BREAKING: Alesso leaves ATM Artists to join Shots Studios Management
Swedish DJÂ and producer Alesso has made a shock departure from ATM Artists, and has signed with Shots Studios for worldwide management representation. The ‘Falling’ star, who has enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with ATM, leaves behind company CEO Amy Thomson, who has managed Alesso throughout some of the biggest hits of his career.
Amy, who also works as the manager of Axwell Λ Ingrosso, also has acts such as Chase & Status under her stewardship at ATM, and was the manager of Swedish House Mafia up until their 2013 split. Alesso, whose career started under the wing of ATM’s fellow Swede, Sebastian Ingrosso, has enjoyed a Grammy nomination and multiple platinum records during a thunderous career so far.
He now joins the digital management and production company’s budding roster of music clients which also includes Anitta and Poo Bear, both of whom he is working on new music with. Amy Thomson issued the following statement to Billboard, remarking:
“After two amazing management terms with Alesso from when Sebastian Ingrosso signed him 7 years ago, it was time for us to both focus on other things and we did not renew our agreement. But I remain one of his biggest fans.”
