Avicii hosting “Without You” remix competition

Avicii debuted his new single ‘Without You‘ upon the release of his new extended play AVĪCI (01), and now one lucky fan who remixes the track will earn a release of their remix on Geffen Records. In addition to the release of the fan-produced remix, the winner will also get a prize of $5,000.

The stems for the track are available on the DJCity blog, which will select the ten finalists. Then, Tim Bergling himself will crown the winner, whose remix will be featured on the blog. Remix competitions are increasing in popularity as a mechanism for promotion and to garner fan involvement in a single’s release.
