deadmau5 confirms new album is on its way

Music mogul Deadmau5 is a producer who has consistently stayed at the top of his game, with his releases and his performances throughout the world. The Canadian has produced a variety of music styles within the progressive house genre, and further delved into other forms of electronic music. Combined with his record label mau5trap – which includes fellow Canadian and fast-rising star Rezz on the roster – the DJs status continues to undoubtedly prove he’s one of the best in electronic music.

Since the release of his impeccable album W:/2016ALBUM/ which topped the Dance/Electronic Albums chart – as published by Billboard – fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from Deadmau5. Thankfully they are in luck, as the ‘Strobe‘ star announced a new album is on its way. One fan took to Twitter to ask if there was any new music in the works, to which Deadmau5 happily replied with a yes.

This will be the 9th album produced by the DJ, but he is still yet to confirm when it will be released, although speculation could see the album drop no later than Spring 2018. Following his latest release, ‘Legendary’ with rapper Shotty Horroh, fusing hip-hop and dance music together, we can certainly expect the album to be filled with fresh tracks that show off his versatility.
