A quick glance at their phone screens tells the crowd it is now approaching 8.30pm in Amsterdam and the Autumnal air has hit a sudden chill… People have been in line for hours and the queue stretches on for at least a hundred meters around one of Amsterdam’s most popular and iconic nightclub ‘Paradiso’ where Norwegian hitmaker Alan Walker is set to make his ADE debut.

With the light of their screens illuminating their face, suddenly the doors open and security begin to filter in the crowded masses. Filling the iconic venue to breaking point, the ‘Walkers’ (Alan’s fanatical fanbase) have come to play their own Game of Thrones, with Norwegian superstar Alan Walker sat firmly at the summit of their worship.

Opening his set with the tingled intro of Marnik & Blazars‘ ‘King In The North’ , the ‘Faded’ superstar delights his roaring faithful with a flurry of hits, including fellow Scandinavians Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso‘s ever-popular ‘Sun Is Shining’ and Tiësto‘s edit of ‘L’Amour Toujours’. Showcasing his own original productions too, Walker moves up through the gears of his back-catalogue, working in ‘Sky’ and ‘Sing Me To Sleep’ whilst bringing out Gavin James to perform ‘Tired’ live on stage.

Utilising his mixing skills to work in Ed Sheeran‘s monstrous ‘Shape Of You’ and Swedish House Mafia’s iconic ‘Save The World’ as well as latest Avicii release ‘Without You’, Alan Walker proved to the Paradiso crowd that his meteoric rise is only just beginning. A producer on an awe-inspiring journey through EDM, his latest ranking in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll proved his soaring popularity, becoming the highest riser in the vote, sitting pretty at #17.

You can view the moment Alan performed ‘Tired’ below, and let us know in the comments if you were at the event for Amsterdam Dance Event 2017.
