Dillon Francis released a music video for his latest single ‘Hello There‘ featuring Yung Pinch, in a humorous send-up of late night talk shows. The video is a collaboration with comedic duo The Dads from the popular content creator Funny or Die.
In the clip, Francis play almost every role, from talk show host, to celebrity guest, to audience member, while vocalist Yung Pinch is featured as a member of the house band. He even spoofs Madonna’s infamous twerking on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, with a cameo by his pet pinata Gerald. The spoof is largely a parody of Jimmy Fallon, including his mannerism and on camera gags.
Francis thoroughly enjoyed the experience of creating ‘Hello There‘ as he commented:
“The video for ‘Hello There’ is my favorite thus far in my career. Working with The Dads was almost as insane as playing all the different characters in the video.”
‘Hello There‘ is a tropical house track that includes references to reggae and the world music vibe of Francis‘ parent label Mad Decent.
