Two of the industry’s best-loved artists have just revealed that they may in fact have a collaboration in the making. During ADE, Don Diablo and Alan Walker shared a photo of themselves together in the studio, suggesting that the pair may be ready to join forces on a brand new release. The annual ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) conference sees a large proportion of artists from the industry come to Amsterdam for events, pop-ups, talks, and to meet with others from the scene, providing a good opportunity for artists to meet and start projects together.

With Don Diablo having rocketed to number 11 on the DJ mag poll at the weekend, and Alan Walker having been awarded ‘highest climber’, the pair are no doubt two of the most in-demand artists in the electronic music industry, and have both seen their fair share of successful releases. Alan Walker shot to fame after his hit single ‘Faded‘ was picked up by the mainstream media, making him a big name in both the dance music industry and beyond. Since then, he has maintained his unique sound, and has continued to provide pop-infused anthems which have proven popular with his worldwide fanbase. Don Diablo has continued to climb to the top year by year, cultivating a widespread army of fans with ever-growing discography, each track characterized by his easily recognizable style. He shows no signs of slowing down, with his next single due to drop tomorrow, ‘Take Her Place’ featuring vocals from A R I Z O N A.

As two of the industry’s biggest pioneers, Don Diablo and Alan Walker would no doubt make a winning combination for an upcoming release, and the resulting track would likely make a dramatic impact on the industry. Although a collaboration has not been officially confirmed, the tweet posted by Don Diablo seems to be fairly suggestive, indicating that the two could be joining forces in the near future.
