Martin Garrix held onto the throne, winning the coveted DJ Mag 100 number one spot a second year in a row. This impressive feat sees the 21 year old, who was previously the youngest winner, beat out a ranking of the best and brightest in the dance music world. Presented the trophy by top 10 winner David Guetta, Garrix appeared just as thankful and surprised as he was last year.

The ranking was announced at this year’s sold out AMF during the Amsterdam Dance Event. 40,000 fans from over 100 countries witnessed the unveiling of the 2017 ranking at the Amsterdam ArenA. Several of the winners, including Hardwell, delivered an impressive celebratory set in the arena.

The poll is seemingly more representative this year, with some female DJs breaking onto the list, as well as a diversity in genres represented. The top five after Garrix were Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, and Tiësto. Fan favorites Flume, Jauz and Alan Walker made their debut on the chart this year.

Check out the complete ranking over at DJ Magazine to see where your favorites ranked. Garrix’ reaction to the big win was heartfelt, thanking fans for their contribution to his position:
