With melodic house’s mass appeal becoming more and more evident, Dutch superstar Sam Feldt looks set to capitalize on his commercially accepted sound with the release of his highly anticipated debut album ‘Sunrise’. Over two years in the making, the 12-track LP features brand new collaborations with a range of artists including Joshua Radin, Toby Green, and Robert Falcon.

Needless to say his summer hit “Fade Away” together with Lush & Simon that gained him legions of fans with its encapsulating summery vibe is one of the standout tracks from the album, alongside the recently released ‘YES’ featuring the vocals of legendary American hip-hop artist Akon. Unveiling a penchant for synth-based melodies across the album, the equally impressive collaboration with Alex Schulz “Be My Lover” features beach-side Caribbean sound and a soothing male vocal to curate the ultimate tropical vibe. Other notable hits include ‘Shot By My Own Gun’ alongside The Federal Empire, that creatively combines Feldt’s unique dance style with a country music twist, creating a feel good singalong anthem.

To coincide with the launch of his album, and with the dance music world flocking to his home country of the Netherlands later this month for Amsterdam Dance Event, Sam recently announced the return of his ‘Heartfeldt Pool Party by Sam Feldt’ event at this year’s ADE. The party will take place at Sloterparkbad Amsterdam on 18th October 2017, before Sam brings the album’s sound to London’s famous Electric Brixton venue on 21st October

Overall, ‘Sunrise’ offers emotion and diversity, and will be sure to keep the summer vibes ignited all year long. Stream the album on Spotify below.
