Steve Aoki & Yellow Claw perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Steve Aoki & Yellow Claw took over Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week, when they performed their new track ‘Lit’ with rapper Gucci Mane and Grammy Award-winning rapper and record producer T-Pain. The track is set to feature on Aoki’s new collab-filled, hip-hop inspired album ‘KOLONY’.

The performance proved to be as extravagant as the track’s accompanying music video. The performance sees Aoki on the decks, Yellow Claw using drum pads in the background, and Gucci Mane and T-Pain hyping the crowd and performing up front.

Much like Calvin Harris, Aoki has steered into a new direction with his latest album ‘KOLONY’. It features a star-studded cast, much like the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Artists such as Migos, Lil Yachty, Wale, Lil Uzi Vert, DVBBS and Bad Royale are all tipped to feature on Aoki’s new album.

Yellow Claw too, have been very busy. Along with Axwell /\ Ingrosso and R3hab, they’ve been added to the ZoukOut festival in Singapore, which is set to take place on December 8th & 9th this year. In addition to this, their collaboration with Krewella; ‘New World‘ has debuted at the #29 spot on Billboard‘s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. The track so far has amassed 328,000 U.S. streams and 4,000 downloads in the tracking week. Indeed, an impressive feat.
