Ibiza’s largest open-air club, Ushuaïa Ibiza brought its stellar 2017 campaign to an emphatic close on Saturday. When the lineup was announced last month, expectations were set high. Kölsch, Joris Voorn, Luciano, Jackmaster and many more all had the honor of capping off an incredible summer with epic production, pyrotechnics and theatrics as Ushuaïa went out with a serious bang.
To celebrate the occasion, Spanish duo Dublin kicked things off, followed by longtime member of the Ushuaïa family, Francisco Allendes. Italo-Swiss headliner Andrea Oliva had been on fire across the island all summer, finishing in festive fashion on Saturday night. Despite playing at Ushuaïa for the first time, island favorite Jackmaster brought his none-more-eclectic blend of bangers, and truly impressed. For Luciano it was a homecoming. His globe-trotting house beats energized the crowd, giving them no reason to stand still. Joris Voorn brought his infectious energy to the party, before Danish techno genius Kölsch returned to play the closing set itself, bringing the season to an end with his epic, graceful melodies. At 2am it was time to say goodbye to a still fully packed club.
Ushuaïa Ibiza has undoubtedly been one of the island’s leading clubs this year. Boasting residencies with Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and many more, it’s no surprise why thousands flocked to the island’s largest open-air club this summer.
