Kayzo and SLANDER are back with the second half of their Dilapidation Celebration EP, dropping a monster of a track named ‘Holy’, fittingly released on music label Monstercat. Their rapturous ‘Without You‘ released earlier this year proved a beatific hit and quite a collaboration from the electronic artists Kayzo and SLANDER who share an abundance of talent between the music producers.
Derek Andersen, Scott Land, and Hayden Capuozzo return to finish what they started. Having recruited music artist Micah Martin on this collaboration, ‘Holy’ is the Juliet to ‘Without You’s’ Romeo, perfectly complimenting one another. For the listeners who enjoy the wild pulsating rides of music, this track is for you. A fairly atmospheric opening welcomes the echoed vocals before the track begins to awaken the senses. Synths blaze like lightning followed by a ricocheting build up into the tracks devilish character that is ‘Holy’. Mount Vesuvius, eat your heart out as ‘Holy’ erupts with an unprecedented and infectious force.
Fans alike have been fist pumping their hands to SLANDER this year while the talented American duo has dropped a string of original productions including ‘One Life‘ on Spinnin’ Records and a rendition of Major Lazer’s ‘Know No Better‘. Equally the Los Angeles music producer Kayzo has enjoyed success with a fruitful festival season featuring on stages at Parookaville, SoCal’s Hard Summer, and Something Wonderful in Mexico.
Get set to catch ‘Holy’ in action as SLANDER have upcoming performances in Chicago, Denver, and Port Canaveral while Kayzo is set to play the fear east in Bangkok and Hong Kong. Listen to their feisty track below.
