Nicky Romero & NERVO’s anthem “Like Home” turns 5 years old

Dutch mastermind Nicky Romero and Australian twin sisters NERVO have reached a major milestone today. In 2012, the trio unleashed their massive collaborative track titled “Like Home“, which celebrates its release’s five-year anniversary today.

Signed by Nicky Romero’s record label Protocol Recordings, “Like Home” became a staple to many music festivals across the globe, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and more. The track was also a huge success in the music charts especially in countries such as Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

From its iconic chord progression to NERVO’s strikingly distinctive vocals, it comes to no surprise “Like Home” turned out to be one of dance music’s biggest records. Also featuring some brilliant melodic sequences and top-notch progressive house sounds, Nicky Romero and NERVO clearly hit a home run with this track, which helped propel their respective careers to even greater heights shortly thereafter.

Nicky Romero also become notorious for his other hit singles “Toulouse” and “I Could Be the One” alongside Swedish legend Avicii, which were both released in 2012 as well. Similarly, NERVO gained prominence for their tracks “The Way We See the World” with Afrojack and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and “You’re Gonna Love Again” leading up to the release of “Like Home”.
