Popular by demand, Spinnin’ Records are back with their weekly Spinnin’ Sessions radio and the first of their November shows. Always providing the freshest and newest sounds in electronic music, Spinnin’ also welcome a weekly guest DJ to thrown down a 30-minute guest mix. Taking out October in style for their 233rd episode, Trobi spun an electric and new B2B guest mix with Boaz van de Beatz. Now, kicking off the first of the winter months, the Dutch records label has recruited their homegrown native DJ Maurice Oude Booyink known as Joe Stone for this weeks mix.
The talented house producer joined Spinnin’ Records back in 2015 after winning a ‘remix contest’. Since then Joe Stone has been dedicated to his music with several releases including a dreamy collab with Ferreck Dawn on their exciting track ‘Man Enough‘ and most recently a few months back the release of his disco banger ‘Make Love‘. And Joe definitely brings his exhilarating expertise to the Spinnin’ studio for this sure-fire guest mix.
Episode 234 shouts feel-good form from the start, The Parakit‘s ‘Without You’ instantly rekindles those summer vibes and the partying memories. Equally, ‘Paradise’ from Zerb is the perfect deep house track to harness those relaxing moods easy on the ears. But Spinnin’ shakes it up delivering Punk Fanatic‘s infectiously rowdy fist-bopper ‘Shikaka’ from the Spinnin’ talent pool. This weeks episode also makes way for tracks by kings of the dance floor bangers Blasterjaxx, Timmy Trumpet, and Swanky Tunes.
Cue Joe Stone for the guest mix, as the Dutchman kicks of with his own track ‘Make Love’, that disco popper as mentioned before. The DJ features his terrific remix of KT Tunstall’s ‘Hard girls’ and Federfunk‘s ‘Love Is The Answer’. Joe’s music are masterpieces and you can instantly identify the passion behind his productions. His outstanding track ‘Let’s Go Together’ is a synth special and a must for this episodes guest mix. The DJ brings Spinnin’ Sessions episode 234 to an end with ‘The Party (This is how we do it)’ a fitting track for a fitting mix. Talking about his Spinnin’ mix Joe says:
“As always I try to keep it groovy with my mixes. Of course, I added my latest singles ‘Let’s Go Together’ and ‘Make Love’. One of the standout tracks is ‘Love Is The Answer’ from The Kisser that has a cool old sample. Really love some filterhouse. Another great track is ‘How Does It Feel’ from DLMT which has a very groovy bassline and catchy vocals.”
