Delving into the scene’s most captivating releases from some of the world’s most in-demand artists, Spinnin’ Sessions returns for its 237th weekly episode. This week, the featured artist is Dutch duo TV Noise, who have treated listeners to an explosive 30-minute guest mix to close out this week’s show.
The start of the episode kicks off in atmospheric style with Ferreck Dawn‘s ‘Words’, before the SvD and David Tort remix of Sander van Doorn‘s own record ‘Riff‘ injects a surge of energy. This week’s Spotify selection is from Sander van Doorn’s alias Purple Haze, ‘Choir 1.0‘, which featured on his ‘SPECTRVM‘ album. Up next is the talent pool selection of the week, a dark and brooding anthem from Asox titled ‘Jack‘. Closing the mix in style, Dropgun‘s upcoming HEXAGON release ‘Nothing New’ detonates adding a further burst of energy, before Loge21‘s upcoming Musical Freedom release ‘Next Order’ brings the mix to a close in truly explosive style.
TV Noise kick off their guest mix with Moti‘s ‘Sabrosa‘ before switching to their upcoming release ‘Cell Phone’, which has captured attention from some of the scene’s biggest artists. Maintaining the exhilarating quality of the mix, TV Noise drop Garmiani‘s ‘Fogo‘ before Jack Ü‘s iconic ‘Jungle Bae‘. Next they showcase two of their upcoming releases, ‘Like That’ and ‘Disko’, both intense dancefloor weapons which will no doubt create a huge crowd reaction whenever dropped live. Further on in the mix, the Dutch duo unleash their remix of Skrillex and Rick Ross‘ ‘Purple Lamborghini‘, before closing with another of their upcoming releases ‘Team’.
We caught up with TV Noise to discuss their upcoming plans and their influences behind the guest mix.
What have you been up to lately?
We’ve been very busy! We have a brand new EP coming up on Spinnin’ Records called Cell Phone EP, to be released on the 24th of November on Spinnin’ Premium and coming to all portals on the 8th of December. The support has been incredible so far; Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto and many others have played ‘Cell Phone’ in their sets. In total there are four tracks on the EP and we’re super proud of the end result! Next to that we are working on our new singles and another EP, to be released next year. We’ve got so much music ready for 2018.. we’re really excited and can’t wait to share it!!
What did you have in mind for this guest mix?
We wanted to show everyone what TV Noise represents through music. So we are playing our brand new records, together with some live mashups we made for our shows. We’re really happy to play ‘Cell Phone’ in the guest mix, it’s one of our highlights live. Next to that we will play you some stuff from Diplo, Wiwek and our remix of ‘Purple Lamborghini’, which we just released as a free download.
