First surfacing 7-8 months ago, Dubvision and Afrojack deliver big with their newest collaboration, “New Memories“. The latest pure progressive house track to be delivered by WALL Recordings is a little slice of life. “New Memories” has worn many different faces throughout it’s existence and has made many incognito appearances at massive festivals in 2017 including Ultra Miami and Tomorrowland in Belgium.

The first link up ever between the two Dutch powerhouses has proved to be lethal in the past few months. The contagious melody, energetic chords, and genius top line satisfy all expectations from the producers. “New Memories” is the end result of two successful Dutch producer/DJ’s fusing their own unique styles into one record. One of the more memorable times that “New Memories” was solidified in the form it is now was when Afrojack had the honour of introducing the track during his “No Place Like Home” show in Rotterdam this September celebrating his 30th birthday. Originally, the track was confused with Dubvision’s remix of “Scared to be Lonely” by dance icon Martin Garrix. According to 1001tracklists.com the first time the track was registered as being played was by Axwell & Ingrosso during their show at Terminal 5 in New York. However, It could have been played live earlier at other shows. There, the track contained the melody that was similar to the drop in “Scared to be Lonely”. Dubvision went on to release an entire separate remix for the song in March of 2017.

As the months rolled by the baffling ID went on to be played again by Otto Knows during his Tomorrowland set in Belgium. Here we see the song mashed up alongside the timeless “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” from Marvin Gaye, as well as Avicii’s “Wake Me Up”. At Ultra Miami, Axwell & Ingrosso mashed up the song alongside the famous “Don’t You Worry Child” on the main stage.

Dubvision (Victor and Stephan Leicher) have been unstoppable in the past few years ever since their first release caught the ears of producers such as David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, and Avicii. Dubvision have snagged many Beatport #1’s in their career and have their own unique style that separates them from the pack.

Afrojack (Nick van de Wall) who needs no introduction is one of the hottest dance acts today. He already has a Grammy under his belt, performs at the most prestigious festivals and clubs in the world, and was instrumental in the explosion of the Dance music scene a decade ago.
