Imagine Dragons – Thunder (AGEZ Bootleg)

23-year-old Mexican Progressive House DJ/producer AGEZ has delivered an excellent remix of Imagine Dragons’ ‘Thunder’. AGEZ, who’s had multiple releases under the alternative alias ‘Kazz’ is known for tracks such as ‘Shotgun‘ with Eddie Mordero (Revealed Recordings) and ‘The Pearl‘ (Ensis Records) also with Eddie Mordero.

Pushing the tempo up from 84 bpm, AGEZ keeps the original track intact in the verse, before introducing 4/4 claps in the pre-chorus. AGEZ successfully uses the claps and additional FX to help build tension in anticipation of the drop. Trashing leads and a strong bass combine to give this radio track a whole new perspective.

While Imagine Dragons are known for their widely successful radio-friendly hits such as ‘Radioactive‘ and ‘On Top Of The World‘, they’ve also dipped their toes in the waters of the EDM scene, with notable remixes from artists such as Kaskade with his remix of ‘Believer‘ and Broiler‘s remix of ‘Shots‘.
