Kygo – Stargazing ft. Justin Jesso (Kaskade Remix)

After releasing his ‘Stargazing‘ EP in September, Kygo is still riding high. With the EP’s title track garnering over 138 million Spotify plays and 54 million YouTube views, it’s safe to say it’s been a success. To add to that success, Kygo has enlisted American DJ/Producer Kaskade to create a tantalizing remix.

Kaskade keeps the intro intimate and sparse with organic guitar and piano, while slowly building the synthetic element. As Justin Jesso hits his choral climax, Kaskade chops it into circles, then takes the reins straight for outer space, with a lush array of electronic key melodies and machine drum beats.

In addition to his “Stargazing’ EP, Kygo’s most recent album, ‘Kids In Love‘ has also been a great success. Featuring artists such as John Newman and OneRepublic, its combined 84.5 million Spotify streams helped it debut at #1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Kaskade released a Christmas album late last month, in celebration of the holiday season. Boasting a healthy mix of original tracks and renditions of classic Christmas carols, the album features notable collaborations with artists such as Skylar Grey, Dia Frampton and Kaskade’s Late Night Alumni.
