Home Uncategorized We Rave You Radio – Episode 24 by Dr. Shiver

Riding high on the recent wave of great reception and appropriately done hard work, Dr. Shiver is back again to contribute to our closely knit community. The Italian DJ and producer has recently done a thorough series of interviews with the team and explored his musical origins, explained the philosophy of his Art&Music Recording label and even done one on his track ‘Wusu’ with David Allen, one of his protegees at the imprint. And now he returns by curating the 24th episode of our We Rave You Radio.

As the mix opens up, the welcome tune is a track none other than the famous unplugged performance of Dr. Shiver’s track ‘Something‘ with singer Kazi. Shifting focus from the organic atmosphere of the opening track, we return to the production desk with Solberjum’s remix of another Dr. Shiver track – ‘Brave Love’ – with French singer Jmi Sissoko. Excitingly, what follows – as mysterious as it may be – is a flurry of unnamed and unrevealed tracks by a myriad artists. Four tracks, back to back, the mysterious bit of music is followed by yet another track from the roster of Dr. Shiver’s Art&Music Recording – leaving the rest of the tracks to be revealed later – as David Allen‘s ‘Kubera’ rings the speakers.

The famous ‘Wusu‘ follows, which sees David Allen collaborate with label boss Dr. Shiver in a thumping team-up output. ‘Wusu’ and 3 other unnamed IDs later, the focus shifts to Raiden and Tom Tyger‘s sumptuous collaboration ‘C’est La vibe‘. Michael Feiner‘s remix of Galantis and Throttle‘s ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ follows in and Daddy’s Groove and Ferdy‘s collaboration ‘Latido’ sees us towards the end as the hour long mix ends with a Shapov and Trouze titled ‘The Way’ collaborative effort and a remix of Dr. Shiver and Marc Typ‘s ‘Love For Life’ by Leonail.

Following suit from the successful release and reception of his latest tracks, it could be said that 2017 has been a pitch perfect year for Dr. Shiver. Steady output, great conversations in his interviews, inclusion in the 2017 Tomorrowland line-up and a guiding personality for his label signatories, Dr. Shiver is a producer who, in 2017, has let his music impress and got the crowds dancing to his tunes at some of the biggest stages – and signing off with an hour long mix.
