Premiere: Spinnin’ Sessions 240 – Damien N-Drix

Returning for another huge weekly episode, Spinnin’ Sessions 240 has officially landed, stacked with some of the scene’s most stellar anthems. This week’s episode sees French star Damien N-Drix drop a fully-charged guest mix featuring tracks spanning a multitude of styles.

The first half of the episode features a number of heavenly anthems, kicking off with Olly Wall‘s ‘Lost Heaven‘. This week’s talentpool selection is Mordkey‘s enchanting release ‘Feel‘, which is quickly followed by Stadiumx‘s latest triumph ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay‘ which dropped on HEXAGON last week. The first half of the episode comes to a close with Curbi‘s explosive weapon, ‘Blow Up‘.

Damien N-Drix kicks off his guest mix uplifting anthem ‘Girls Night Out‘ by Dombresky & Tony Romera‘s, before quickly taking the mix up a gear with Zerb & Alex Senna‘s remix of Riton‘s ‘Rinse & Repeat‘ followed by Black Caviar‘s ‘Coco Puffs‘. He features his own Spinnin’ Records release ‘Inkali‘, before showcasing a number of stellar releases across a number of labels, each with the same level of ferocity, keeping the energy of the mix at its height, before finishing up with TV Noise‘s ‘Cell Phone‘.

We caught up with Damien N-Drix to discuss his guest mix and future plans.

What have you been up to lately?

Working as hell in my homestudio in Marseille & touring each weeks, I love this DJ life. At the moment I’ve just released my brand new track, ‘Inkali’, on Spinnin’ Main Label, for the 1st time, I reached the 1st rank on Future House top100 on Beatport in 5 days only and top25 general. Previous 2 releases were on SPRS : Let It Ring which is close to overpass the million of streamings on Spotify & Turn It Up EP which has been strongly supported: David Guetta, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, Tchami, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo & more! this is crazy. I’ve other tracks that’ll be coming out in 2018, next one is “Talking” coming up on Heldeep and an official remix for Felix Jaehn out mid-december. I can’t wait to share it!!

What did you have in mind for this Guest Mix?

I wanted to share a combinaison of different genres I like to play, bringing out the Damien N-Drix sound everywhere I can. This mix includes my new tracks on Spinnin but also mashups I’ve made for my shows and that I’m offering for free each month in my DMSN radio shows on Soundcloud. Enter a new dimension…
