With Calvin Harris purchasing the former home of Steve Angello in California, it appears EDM royalty have traded palaces. Splashing a cool $5.045 million on the massive home, Harris will now be a resident of the Hollywood Hills area, sharing beautiful views of the Los Angeles area with other celebrities. The mansion is truly impressive, clocking in at 6,000 square feet of living space. Boasting built-in bookcases, floor-to-ceiling windows with marvellous city views, and soaring vaulted ceilings, the not-so-humble abode was built in the 1940s but has been renovated since then.

One feature that certainly attracted Harris to the property is its unique two-story music and recording studio, which the ‘Funk Wav Bounces‘ producer inherits from the erstwhile Swedish House Mafia superstar. For Harris, the property is not all work but includes plenty of spaces for play, including a stunning dining room that opens up into an outdoor pool with a shower. The transaction was handled by affiliates of the famed Christie’s property portfolio, which surely illustrates just how wealthy and exclusive both clients are.
