After announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2017, English House duo Disclosure have announced a new album is in the works. However, in an anti-climactic second piece of news, they’ve also announced the cancellation of Wild Life Festival 2018. While the surprising revelations have left the majority of fans with mixed feelings, listeners are inexplicably excited for the duo’s imminent return.

Despite the disappointing cancellation of Wild Life Festival, the duo took to Instagram to express their gratitude for having had the opportunity to curate their own festival.

“Being able to curate your own festival with your mates and invite legends like Nas, Ice Cube and Chaka Khan to play alongside amazing new talent such as Stormzy, Kaytranada and AJ Tracy, stack them up against a host of flawless DJ’s like Annie Mac, Jackmaster and Armand Van Helden and throw parties with Elrow is literally a dream come true”

They continued on by announcing an upcoming album; their first since Caracal in 2015.

“However, with a busy recording schedule ahead as we embark on album number 3 we’re going to give the green grass of Shoreham Airport a break throughout 2018 and come back bigger and better in 2019.”

Despite taking a hiatus in 2017, the Englishmen were still out and about playing a number of gigs including performances with BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza, a 4-show residency at DC10 Ibiza, and the return of their festival Wildlife in June.
