Hardwell makes Beats 1 debut with energy-fueled Welcome 2018 mix

To celebrate the start of 2018, Beats 1 have called upon 24 of the worlds biggest artists to put together 24 hours worth of top class music broadcasted exclusively on Apple Music. With the likes of Martin Garrix, Avicii, Camelphat, and MK taking to the decks, it made for the perfect way to ring in the new year. Making his debut on the channel was Hardwell, who provided one hour of the floor shaking anthems that he has become renowned for playing.

It has been another year of pushing boundaries for the Dutch superstar, whose highlights for the year include becoming the first DJ to perform at the Grand Prix, drawing a record breaking crowd for his ‘Guestlist4Good’ event in Mumbai, and expanding his Hardwell on Air radio show by adding a second hour to each episode. Now he rounds off the year with his Beats 1 Welcome 2018 mix, featuring music from the likes of KAAZE, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, and Dash Berlin, alongside many of Hardwell’s biggest releases. Included in the mix are hits such as ‘Power’, ‘Creatures of the Night’ and ‘What We Need’, all of which were some of the most successful records released on Revealed. If 2017 was anything to go by, you can be sure that Hardwell will continue to push himself to maintain his dominance of Big Room in 2018.
