Marshmello’s collab with Lil Uzi Vert and TM88 to remain unreleased
Having surfaced online months ago, Lil Uzi Vert‘s latest track ‘Mood’, that had its official release on January 5th, was expected to be a collaboration with none other than masked producer Marshmello. However, with the official release of the track came a new version that has been credited to Atlanta based Hip Hop producers TM88, Southside, and Supah Mario.
Whilst some fans were left confused, Marshmello cleared up the situation by explaining that he and Southside were behind an earlier version of ‘Mood’ for Lil Uzi Vert, but TM88 ended up using an alternative version. All is not lost, however, as he also added that they’ll end up collaborated on a brand new idea instead.
Me and @sizzle808MAFIA did a different version when we were in the studio together, @TM88 ended up having to use the OG version. Don’t worry we will all do something else together. Mood is ??? https://t.co/ukEOgHbJkC
