Highly rated producers Odesza will have a huge part to play in the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics. But rather than taking to the slopes themselves, the electronic pair’s contribution to the competition will come through their track ‘Corners of the Earth.’
A fitting track to mark the grand occasion, ‘Corners of the Earth’ is just one of many awe-inspiring productions from the duo’s album A Moment Apart, with the Games using the track in their recently tweeted promo video.
“We gaze up under the same stars and draw breath from the same sky,” the announcer states in the Winter Olympics announcement below, which brings touches of emotion to proceedings ahead of the competition in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
With the competition set to start in typically snowy conditions on February 8th, the world will be watching, and on the evidence of this track – listening too – to the wonderfully raw sounds of Odesza. You can check out the announcement below and let us know what you think of the track in the comments section!
This February, the world unites to feel the warmth of the Olympic spirit. #WinterOlympics
