Zedd reveals new single with Grey & Maren Morris

After teasing a new song on Twitter last week and cover art announcing a new single just days ago, Russo-German Producer/DJ Anton Zaslavski, a.k.a Zedd, has finally released his latest single, ‘The Middle‘ with American electronic duo Grey and country music singer/songwriter Maren Morris. While Zedd & Grey are no strangers to each other, boasting successful singles such as ‘Adrenaline‘ and ‘Starving‘, this is Zaslavski’s first collaboration with Maren Morris.

When asked about her experience working with the esteemed producer, Morris explained the following:

“I’m so excited we’re finally able to share ‘The Middle’ with the world, Zedd was so great to work with and so easy going, it felt like we’d been working together for years. The sound is reflective of my many influences as an artist — a little bit country, little pop, little R&B, relatable, emotional and catchy as hell. There are no limits with this song and I can’t wait to see how the fans react.”

Following a similar template to many of his Future Bass/Pop hits, Zaslavski’s latest work draws a prominent likeness to ‘Stay‘ with Canadian singer/songwriter Alessia Cara. From bright, pop-oriented vocals, to the lead synths and the clap/cowbell layered percussion on each off-beat, Zedd’s signature formula for Future Bass/Pop singles, once again, demonstrates the 28-year-old’s incredible musical talent.
