Jesus Loves Electro – Lift

Home Uncategorized Jesus Loves Electro – Lift

Returning from what seemed like an endless hiatus is religious Norwegian EDM trio, Jesus Loves Electro with their brand-new single, ‘Lift‘. With tracks such as ‘Burning Love‘ and ‘Our God‘ amassing more than 530,00 combined Spotify streams, JLE are looking to start where they left off, while preaching the gospel.

‘Lift’ begins with a simple ascending intro, capturing the listeners’ attention almost instantly. Low-passed lead synths and bright cymbal rides fittingly build tension, before delivering a hard-hitting drop. Lead pluck synths, an unostentatious drop-melody structure and percussion elements all combine to give the song a similar likeness to Swedish House Mafia‘s ‘Greyhound‘. However, a drop in tempo combined with a Trap-inspired break gives the track its own unique identity. As the second drop arrives, additional synths are added to the mix, giving the drop a full sounding, rave-esque atmosphere.

Combining EDM with a prominent focus on God, Jesus Loves Electro creates a new, progressive scene for praise. Boasting a unique ideology, the Norwegian trio utilises electronic music infused with religion, to preach and celebrate the Gospel. From the biggest venues in Scandinavia to festivals around Europe and everywhere in between, Jesus Loves Electro has begun growing into a movement of young believers, finding a new means of experiencing the Gospel and express their praise.
