Brazilian DJ/Producer Michael Prado is continuing his excellent start to 2018 with his latest release; ‘Last Night a DJ Saved My Life‘. Having moved to Italy to pursue his music dream, his career took off, seeing him garner support from such labels including Spinnin’ Records and Armada alongside numerous performances in countries across the globe, and now, signed his impressive remake on one of world’s renowned labels EGO.
The track opens with smooth female vocals accompanied by a tambourine and a subtle lead synth. Humble beginnings quickly and seamlessly transition into a tranquil drop, where the vocals are joined by a warm synth and bass. The second breakdown maintains the track’s easy-listening nature before the drop arrives once again, where pitched-down vocals and vocal slices give the track extra fullness. Drawing a likeness to EDX, the track follows a similar structure and channels the summer-soaked vibe listeners adore.
Following the beginning of his DJ career, Michael began curating soundtracks for famous clothing brands such as fashion designer Philipp Plein at Milan Fashion Week and attracted the attention of renowned magazines such as Vogue and L’Officiel Hommes. In addition to this, Michael received notable support on tracks such as ‘Spread Love‘ with Rafa Lucas and his remake of Bob Marley‘s ‘Redemption Song‘ with Dubdogz.
