Premiere: Spinnin’ Sessions 247 – Dyro & GTA

Spinnin’ Sessions is back to provide another weekly dose of the finest tracks in the electronic music scene. This week’s episode includes a spectrum of releases, as well as an energy-fueled guest mix from Dutch superstar Dyro and American power duo GTA. As usual, the selection of releases spans a variety of the most well-respected labels in the industry, as well as featuring some brand new IDs.

The mix kicks off by featuring some atmospheric Summer tunes, with “From The Soul” by Redondo, followed by Dankann‘s “I Want To Be With You”. The uplifting feel continues with Spinnin’ Records’ latest Talent Pool release, “Tell Me Baby” by Italian rising producer PØP CULTUR. Towards the end of the first half of the mix, listeners are treated to some heavier releases, as Carta‘s upcoming release “Imma G” exudes power, followed by Dropgun‘s latest future bass banger “Krishna”, coming up on KSHMR‘s Dharma Records on February 2nd. 

As the episode moves into its second half, Dyro and GTA take over with an absolutely sensational guest mix, kicking things off with a little throwback by showcasing Dyro’s “Alive“. The whole mix provides intense twists and turns, smoothly switching between styles as Dyro and GTA effortlessly showcase their capabilities. Including tracks from NGHTMRE, Zomboy, and Habstrakt, the diversity of the selection ensures that the mix is captivating throughout. Including and showcasing their very own collaboration titled “Talkin’ About”, which was released earlier this week on Spinnin’ Records, the mix truly climaxes in a magnificent style.

For this very special B2B mix, We Rave You had the chance to speak to Dyro as well as GTA to find out what fans can soon expect from both acts.

What have you been up to lately?

Dyro: I’ve been enjoying some time back in Amsterdam for the new year and I’ve also juts been out on a mini US run of dates across Seattle, Texas, LA and more! Lot’s of new releases ready for 2018 and I’m so glad that this collab with GTA is finally out there!

GTA: Lately we’ve been working on new music and preparing ourselves to go on our own “3NightStand Tour” in a couple of weeks, which we’re really excited for! We have been working on a new EP that will be coming out SOON and also have been working on a lot of new collaborations (including Dyro haha!)

What did you have in mind for this Guest Mix? 

Dyro: I went deep on this one! Hard-hitting and high-energy with my recent remix of Steve Aoki, some killer heat from Zomboy and of course, my collab with GTA – I hope you enjoy!

GTA: For this guest mix, we decided to put in a mixture of some harder trap/electro stuff that we’ve been into (since that’s the kind of sound in our collaboration with Dyro) as well as a couple of funky house tracks (like Tony Romera’s “Fire Inside”) that we’ve been listening to and playing non stop! We hope you dig it!   

 Working with Dyro on this track went really smoothly and was a awesome experience! Jordy is such a cool dude and when we linked up in person to talk about the collaboration, the ideas started flowing! Big thanks to Jordy and excited to finally get this one out to the fans!
