SLANDER & SAYMYNAME – I Can’t Escape (feat. Feli Ferraro)

Heaven trap heavyweights SLANDER has returned to get their 2018 underway and the electronic duo are making a statement with their new track ‘I Can’t Escape‘ out on Insomniac Records. The LA-based duo has been reeling in success following a string of original productions through 2017 while evolving their sound. But now Derek Andersen and Scott Land have teamed up with SAYMYNAME and enlisted the vocals of Feli Ferraro to deliver this aggressive and feisty production full of pounding basslines and their signature sound.

‘I Can’t Escape’ opens with orchestral melodies topped by soothing vocals of Ferraro as lyrics such as “All the thoughts that hit me when the lights turn off” and “In my head I know it’s too late, I’m locked in and I can’t escape” begin to build the tension. Continued vocals lead to a soft build up before the American DJs unleash stabbing basslines and a flurry of ferocious synths. Contrasting emotive piano melodies with serrating synths has never sounded so good.

A bass-heavy banger that is ready to tear up dancefloors and mainstages, the boys have not disappointed us here.
