Our Weekly Selections playlist on Spotify is updated yet again, as we do every Friday. Filled with the week’s latest tunes from in and around the EDM spectrum, think of this as Dance Music’s very own New Music Friday playlist. In it you’ll find new music from global heavyweights and rising prodigies alike; this week we have music from David Guetta, Camelphat, Nervo, Vigel and more.

Right at the top we find David Guetta in the spotlight, along with Martin Garrix and Brooks. The French-Dutch team up results in a proper festival anthem that combines big room, progressive house and the relatively new, future house. “Like I Do” follows has a simple vocal hook set to keep the motion rolling but leaving the instrumental to do the heavylifting unlike most dance music tracks infusing pop these days.

In the world of the Groove Cartel, where progressive house, big room and funky rhythms collide, Marcus Schossow has stepped up. The Swede is hot off his last release ‘Tell Me Why‘ which has garnered over 2 million streams on Spotify. His new release, ‘White Lies’ follows the same dark vibe complemented by a rumbling bassline and out of this world drums. Out now on Marcus’ Code Red label. There’s also new music from Tom Staar, Marcus Santoro and Corey James in the groove house department.

Capitalizing on the latin meets dance movement, Dillon Francis steps up to the plate with ‘We The Funk‘, a collaboration with Fuego. DJ Snake also follows suit albeit with an Arabian inspired melody in ‘Magneta Riddim‘.

Check out all of the above and more in our Spotify Weekly Selections playlist below.
