Al Sharif – Get Right

A true groove house artisan, Al Sharif proves his prowess again with his latest release “Get Right”, released by The Groove Cartel.  The American DJ/Producer is the man behind some of the hottest groove/tribal records to come about in the past few months, including the fabled “The Iberian“, “EGO“, and the extra zesty “Muchacho“. Having collaborated alongside names like Erick T, and fellow American Frank Nitty, Sharif is solidifying his place as a true pioneer in the art of the groove.

A major landmark in his career was his collaboration with Nitty, “The Iberian” released on Tom Staar’s famed imprint StaarTraxx. Sharif’s style could be described as a blend of strong, flowing progressive beats with the spice and flare of latin influenced instrumentation. His ear for hypnotic rhythms and infectious grooves are well known amongst the genres elite, names like Kryder and Staar come to mind. “Get Right” comes fully equipped with killer drums, rolling bass, and a rather fervid groove. Halfway through the track we reach a climatic breakdown outfitted with a spiralling siren that sets the vibe before the track kicks back in again.
