What happens when the track of the summer falls into the hands of one of the most esteemed producers in modern day house music? The Tom Staar remix/bootleg of ‘Cola’, is what.

The Grammy-nominated ‘Cola’ by Liverpool duo Camelphat and producer and vocalist Elderbrook has received a plethora of remixes to date, including remixes from Zhu, Franky Rizardo, Mousse T, and MK, but none are as reminiscent of true rave culture as Tom Staar’s version.

With fervent early support from heavyweights such as Steve Angello, Axwell, Alesso, and many others, the notorious Ibiza resident DJ and producer has transformed the low-key vocal crowd-warmer into a peak time rave belter of a tune. Staar’s signature kickdrums paired with melodic ravey stabs shine brazenly through the rework, while keeping tune to the laidback vibes of the original.

The bootleg is just one of Tom Staar’s many, many tunes for 2018, following the release of his mesmerizing progressive house club anthem ‘Come Together’ on Axwell’s Axtone records and his remix of Spoiled & Zigo’s ’99 trance classic ‘More & More’.
