Alesso remixes Maroon 5 hit, delivers another summer anthem

Last week, we heard rumblings of a new summer anthem played by Alesso during his performance at EDC Vegas, of Maroon 5’s hit song, ‘This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like a Mother Fucker.’ It seems that those rumblings have been proven true, as today, Alesso officially unveiled his remix of the track.

The artist gave fans a first-listen the other night via Saturday Night Online, an iHeart Radio station, before unloading it to the masses. The track incorporates the unforgettable vocals of Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, with Alesso’s masterful progressive house melodies.

‘This Summer’ comes to us shortly after the successful release of his debut album, Forever, which included massive singles ‘Cool‘ and ‘Heroes.’ With releases like these, Alesso continues to grow his prominence within the hearts of the mainstream audience. Expect to hear this one at festivals and on the radio throughout the summer.
