DJ was shot dead for not playing a track on demand

When talking about music, the first connotations come to our minds are love, peace, serenity, unity, respect. In our wildest dreams we never imagined to hear such shocking tragedy as we heard today.

30-years old Indian DJ Arun Valmiki was shot dead by an attendee (Ashu alias Ishu) for “refusing to play a song at a birthday party”. The incident happend during a birthday party at Sidhauli village in Meerganj area. Valmiki was taken to the community health centre where he was soon after declared dead. India TV News reports

The song request that spawned the dispute also remains in question.
