Don Diablo really has a knack for turning things on their head. The Wombats ‘Give Me A Try’ has just been turned into another fabled Diablo signature. Which begs the question, does the guy take time off?

Maintaining the meaningful chorus, Diablo loops the lyrics over the top of his typical mastery. Claps, piano chords, a soft kick-drum and a toned instrumental progression all layered in synchronicity culminate in an uplifting and alternative melodic drop. With echoed and liquid effects scattered throughout, Diablo’s tinkering with the format is forever present.

Having just released his remix of Rudimentals ‘Never Let You Go’, Diablo seems to have caught a second wind for the latter half of 2015, which only brings us excitement and anticipation for what the Dutch maestro has in store for the near future – so be sure to stay tuned.
